After a short summer break, Wellington (Telford) Brass Band is back<\/strong> \u2013 refreshed, rehearsing and ready for what promises to be a busy few weeks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we\u2019re certainly not easing ourselves back into things\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunset Walk Up The Wrekin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First up is our\u00a0Sunset Walk up the Wrekin<\/strong>\u00a0fundraising walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Band members, friends and supporters will be heading up one of Shropshire\u2019s most famous landmarks, with the band performing at the top as the sun begins to set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ll then be lighting up the summit with glow sticks before making our way back down \u2013 hopefully creating quite a sight from below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It promises to be a fantastic evening combining music, a bit of a challenge and plenty of fun, while also raising funds to support the band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back on the Concert Stage \u2013 11th September<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s not much time to put our feet up afterwards, as our next concert ‘Music is the Breath of Life’ takes place on\u00a019:30hrs Friday 11th September<\/strong>, at the Edge Arts Centre, get your tickets here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re looking forward to getting back in front of an audience and sharing another evening of great brass band music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a well-earned summer break, rehearsals are back in full swing and there\u2019s plenty happening at Wellington (Telford) Brass Band as we head towards the autumn and the remainder of our 2026 programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
