Wellington (Telford) Brass Band Awards Evening 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a fantastic evening celebrating another brilliant year for Wellington (Telford) Brass Band at The Cock Hotel, Wellington. \ud83c\udf89<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was great to see the whole band come together to look back on our achievements over the past year \u2014 and, of course, to hand out some well-deserved awards!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our main awards went to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc6 The Cathy Gaskell Memorial Trophy \u2013 Vicky (Cornet)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc6 Players\u2019 Choice Award \u2013 Steve (Trombone)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc6 Musical Director\u2019s Award \u2013 Rob (Cornet)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc6 The Jim Wall Memorial Trophy \u2013 Peter (Cornet)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also had a few light-hearted awards to keep things fun:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc5 The Greggs Award \u2013 Susan (Horn)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc5 The \u201cAnd, Not Ampersand\u201d Award \u2013 Rhian (Baritone)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc5 The Timber Award \u2013 Hazel (Horn)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special thank you goes to Erica, who organised the evening so perfectly. She even received her own award \u2013 Little Miss Impatient!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a brilliant night filled with laughter, good food, and great company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
