About Wellington (Telford) Brass Band
Wellington (Telford) Brass Band has a proud history rooted in community music-making, having been formed around 25 years ago following the evolution of the former Dawley Brass Band. Based in Telford, the band has grown into a friendly and inclusive ensemble of around 35 players of all ages and abilities, rehearsing on Wednesday & Sundays at Arleston Community Centre. Over the years, it has built a strong reputation for both contesting and community performances, recently celebrating promotion from the Third to the Second Section, an achievement that reflects its continued dedication, progress, and passion for brass banding.
