Full Circle: A Special Charity Concert for Telford Mind
Wellington (Telford) Brass Band is proud to announce a very special event this summer, Full Circle, a charity concert in support of Telford Mind.
Taking place on Saturday 11th July at 7.00pm at the Oakengates Salvation Army, the concert promises an uplifting evening of music, bringing together our band and special guests for a cause that touches so many lives in our community.
This event is particularly meaningful for us as it marks the retirement of our own Pete Aplin from his teaching career. Pete, a valued member of the band on percussion and cornet, has dedicated many years to education and music, inspiring countless young people along the way. As he steps into a well-earned retirement, we wanted to celebrate his contribution in a way that reflects both his passion for music and his commitment to people.
“Full Circle” feels especially fitting, a moment to recognise Pete’s journey, give back to the community, and support an organisation doing vital work in mental health across Telford.
All proceeds from the evening will go to Telford Mind, helping them continue their essential support services for individuals and families facing mental health challenges.
