After a short summer break, Wellington (Telford) Brass Band is back – refreshed, rehearsing and ready for what promises to be a busy few weeks!
And we’re certainly not easing ourselves back into things…
Sunset Walk Up The Wrekin
First up is our Sunset Walk up the Wrekin fundraising walk.
Band members, friends and supporters will be heading up one of Shropshire’s most famous landmarks, with the band performing at the top as the sun begins to set.
We’ll then be lighting up the summit with glow sticks before making our way back down – hopefully creating quite a sight from below!
It promises to be a fantastic evening combining music, a bit of a challenge and plenty of fun, while also raising funds to support the band.
Back on the Concert Stage – 11th September
There’s not much time to put our feet up afterwards, as our next concert ‘Music is the Breath of Life’ takes place on 19:30hrs Friday 11th September, at the Edge Arts Centre, get your tickets here.
We’re looking forward to getting back in front of an audience and sharing another evening of great brass band music.
After a well-earned summer break, rehearsals are back in full swing and there’s plenty happening at Wellington (Telford) Brass Band as we head towards the autumn and the remainder of our 2026 programme.
Summer break over. Walking boots on. Instruments at the ready. We’re back!
