What a fantastic night we had at our “Music is the Breath of Life” concert, raising money for the Jon Hayward Memorial Trust.
Wellington (Telford) Brass Band took to the stage for an evening filled with wonderful music, friendship and some very special moments, all in support of a cause that means a great deal to us.
We were delighted to be joined by the wonderful vocal soloist Laura Noble, daughter of our Musical Director, David Nicholson. Laura’s performances added something really special to the evening and it was a pleasure for the band to accompany her.
The venue provided a fabulous setting for the concert, and the atmosphere throughout the evening was wonderful. There is something very special about bringing people together through live music, particularly when that music can also help support such a worthwhile cause.
We simply cannot thank everyone enough who helped make the evening possible — those who organised and supported the event, the venue and its staff, our guest soloist, our Musical Director and players, and, most importantly, everyone who came along to listen and support us.
Your support helped turn a concert into a truly memorable evening.
Music really is the breath of life, and on this particular night it brought us all together for something very special.
From everyone at Wellington (Telford) Brass Band, thank you for being part of it.
We’ll be sharing a further update as soon as we know the final total and can let you know just how much, with your support, we have helped to raise for the Jon Hayward Memorial Trust.
