Christmas carols, brass band and a pub or six… it must be nearly Christmas!
This December, Wellington (Telford) Brass Band is taking its Christmas music on the road for a festive Christmas Carol Pub Crawl, raising much-needed funds for the band along the way.
Starting in Dawley at 3pm, we’ll be making our way through Oakengates and Ketley Bank before finishing the evening in Wellington. We’ll be bringing plenty of Christmas favourites with us, and we’d love you to join us at one (or several!) of our stops, grab a drink and enjoy some live festive brass.
The Itinerary
3.00pm – Elephant & Castle, Dawley
4.00pm – The Crown, Oakengates
5.00pm – Fighting Cocks, Oakengates
6.00pm – Lord Hill Inn, Ketley Bank
7.30pm – The Wrekin, Wellington
8.30pm – The Pheasant, Wellington
There’s no need to follow us for the whole crawl, although you’re very welcome to! Simply meet us at your local, join us for a couple of stops or make an afternoon and evening of it.
The pub crawl is a fundraiser for Wellington (Telford) Brass Band, so if you enjoy the music, please pop something in our collection bucket. Every donation helps support the band and keeps us out and about making music.
So dust off your Christmas jumper, gather a few friends and come and find us on Sunday 20th December.
