It’s all systems go at Wellington (Telford) Brass Band as we prepare for a busy few months of music, competitions and festive celebrations!
Wychavon – Here We Come!
The countdown is officially on to the Wychavon Festival of Brass, where we’ll be making our first appearance in several years!
Having recently earned promotion to the Second Section, we’re looking forward to taking to the contest stage once again. Rehearsals have been keeping us busy as we put the finishing touches to our entertainment programme, which promises plenty of Christmas cheer, a few surprises and, of course, some great brass band music.
We’ll be taking to the stage at 4.30pm, and we’re looking forward to showing everyone what Wellington Brass can do!
Whatever the result, we’re determined to enjoy the occasion and do the band proud.
A Cracking Christmas Ahead! 🎄
And once Wychavon is behind us, there’ll be no time to put our feet up!
We’ve got a packed Christmas calendar ahead, with plenty of opportunities to hear the band performing across the local community.
Two events we’re particularly looking forward to are:
🎶 Our Christmas Concert – Friday 18th December
Join us for a wonderful evening of festive music as we team up with Dawley Royal British Legion for our Christmas Concert.
Expect a fantastic selection of Christmas favourites, plenty of festive spirit and an opportunity to support a great local cause.
🍻 Our Christmas Pub Crawl – Sunday 20th December
One of our favourite festive traditions returns! We’ll be taking our Christmas music on the road, visiting local pubs around Dawley, Oakengates and Ketley Bank.
It’s always a great afternoon and evening of music, laughter and community spirit, so why not come along, enjoy a drink and join in the festivities?
Come Along and Support Us!
From the excitement of contesting to the joy of Christmas carols, the next few months promise to be busy ones for Wellington (Telford) Brass Band.
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support we receive from our audiences, friends and local community. Whether you’re joining us for a concert, catching us playing in a pub or simply stopping to listen, your support means a great deal.
