Wellington (Telford) Brass Band Awards Evening 2025
We had a fantastic evening celebrating another brilliant year for Wellington (Telford) Brass Band at The Cock Hotel, Wellington. 🎉
It was great to see the whole band come together to look back on our achievements over the past year — and, of course, to hand out some well-deserved awards!
Our main awards went to:
🏆 The Cathy Gaskell Memorial Trophy – Vicky (Cornet)
🏆 Players’ Choice Award – Steve (Trombone)
🏆 Musical Director’s Award – Rob (Cornet)
🏆 The Jim Wall Memorial Trophy – Peter (Cornet)
We also had a few light-hearted awards to keep things fun:
🏅 The Greggs Award – Susan (Horn)
🏅 The “And, Not Ampersand” Award – Rhian (Baritone)
🏅 The Timber Award – Hazel (Horn)
A special thank you goes to Erica, who organised the evening so perfectly. She even received her own award – Little Miss Impatient!
It was a brilliant night filled with laughter, good food, and great company.
